Hot new act Jessie J, who topped the charts this week on BBC Radio 1, performed live in Camden's Barfly on Sunday 6th, January 2011, to an excited and energetic crowd of fans. The British singer-songwriter played her usual US rock, dance and soul-pop music with attitude but stripped away the electronics opting for an acoustic vibe. Before launching her own career, Jessie had written songs for a number of artists including Christina Agulera and Miley Cirus. Since then she has taken the title of The BBC Sound of 2011 and hit number one in the singles chart.
