Patient initially seeking ankle implant surgery for his debilitating ankle pain. At post operative visit 8 wks, he is 80% improved in symptoms and able to go about his activities.
Notice the small incisions at 5 mm each on both sides of the ankle, noted as medial and lateral portals for the scope procedure. Minimally invasive with maximum results without collateral damage.
Procedure: Ankle arthroscope with injection of platelet gel.
