Impressionism

  • há 13 anos
Impressionism was an artistic and philosophical movement, represented by a small group of painters - mostly French - and became a revolution in the history of painting, since it broke with certain technical principles and election of theme in vogue in traditional European academic painting at the second half of the nineteenth century. Some names that stood out on defense and dissemination of this style are: Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Edouard Manet, Edgar Degas, Alfred Sisley and Frédéric Bazille.
