2010 newcomer Tinie Tempah has bagged four Brit Award nominations for 2011.

The singer and rapper is nominated for British Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, British Single and Album of the Year.

The South Londoner was overwhelmed by the news saying: "I don't know what to say, I don't know what to do, I don't know where to put my hands, I don't know if I'm sweating. It's crazy."

Tinie's close friend Plan B joins him in the Male Solo Artist category as well as going up against him for Best Single and Best Album, however the rapper wishes his friend well adding: "I just hope Tinie Tempah does well because I think he deserves it. I think me and him have been waving the flag for Great Britain."

The Wanted, Cheryl Cole, Olly Murs and Ellie Goulding are all up for awards and are set to attend the main ceremony on February 15.
