Steve Jobs - Stanford Commencement Speech

Steve Jobs shares three lessons in life.

1. Connecting the dots - Unlikely choices and experiences that seem irrelevant in life can all come together to have tremendous significance in the present. You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that somehow the dots will connect in your future.

2. Love and Loss - Sometimes life is going to hit your head with a brick, don't lose faith. The only thing that will keep you going in such times is your love for what you do. You got to find what you love. Only way to be truly satisfied is
to do what you believe is great work. Only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet keep looking and don't settle.

3. Death - Remembering that you will be dead soon is the most important tool to help you make the big choices in life. All external expectations, pride, fear of embarrassment or failure fall away in the face of death.
