Vlog 016 - Yusef - Ozzy - O'Jays | Jack White | Stevie ...

One of the funniest performances we've seen in a long time - Yusuf Islam, AKA Cat Stevens, performs "Peace Train" (well, part of it, anyway) before being upstaged by Ozzy Osbourne and a screeching version of his "Crazy Train". If there weren't enough trains already, the O'Jays finish things off with "Love Train" - all part of the Rally to Restore Sanity / March to Keep Fear Alive, hosted by Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert on October 30th, 2010 in Washington. Conan O'Brien returns to the air this week - and Jack White will be one of the first musical guests. We play a bit of "We're Going To Be Friends" from the last episode of his old show, before his short Tonight Show Stint. Stevie Wonder's appearance on the WNET show Soul! in 1972 is something we've watched three times now and we've only had it a week. Selected bits from this awesome performance, including "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" and "Superstition". The Black Keys continue to impress us, most recently on Later With…Jools Holland, where they laid down "Next Girl" on October 26th, 2010. Also a snippet from their Letterman performance of "Tighten Up" back in May, right when their album "Brothers" was released. Finally, a little bit of the human riff himself, Keith Richards, who has just published an autobiography called "Life". To remind us of the glory days, we throw in a little bit of the Stones' excellent 1971 show at the Marquee Club, specifically the tail end of "Bitch".
