Armaan Jaffer speaks about his century

ARMAAN Jaffer struck the first ton f this season’s Harris Shield as defending champions Springfield Rizvi, Bandra made a spectacular start to their title defence against Shardashram Vidyamandir English, Dadar at Cross Maidan yesterday. At stumps, Rizvi were 320 for the loss of six wickets with Armaan unbeaten on exact 100.
Rizvi coach Raju Pathak who has been fairly vocal about his side’s preparations leading up to this tournament, insisted he wasn’t surprised by the performance of his players on the opening day. And his players backed his conviction with the prolific trio of Prithvi Shaw (78), Sarfaraz Khan (84) and Armaan making huge contribution in their side’s score.
