There are rumours that Gamu Nhengu may make an appearance at tonight's Mobo awards.

According to reports, organisers of the music event in Liverpool are trying to get the 18-year-old X Factor reject to perform, with speculation she may duet with boyband JLS.

The Metro newspaper claim they have been told that JLS are 'teaming up with a mystery guest' on stage.

Gamu's exit from The X Factor sparked outraged, and news followed that her mother's visa application had been rejected and she could be deported to her home country of Zimbabwe.

The 15th annual Music Of Black Origin awards are being held at Liverpool's Echo Arena and are being presented by Alesha Dixon and Reggie Yates.

Mark Ronson, Nelly, JLS, Tinie Tempah, Tynchy Stryder, Professor Green and N-Dubz are all believed to be performing.
