Saturdays star Mollie auditioned for X Factor

Footage of Saturdays star Mollie King auditioning for The X Factor has surfaced online.

The 23-year-old blonde sang for Simon Cowell and the rest of the judging panel back in 2006 as part of girl group called Fallen Angels.

The band got through to the bootcamp stages of the show but did not progress any further.

The year before, Mollie auditioned as a solo artist but did not get through the first round.

Mollie is now one fifth of the very successful british girl group The Saturdays along with Rochelle, Frankie, Una and Vanessa.
