Cheryl Cole says she still loves Ashley

Cheryl Cole has finally spoken out about her split from ex-husband Ashley Cole.

Speaking to Piers Morgan on his ITV series, Life Stories, the singer broke down and said "part of me will always love him".

Cheryl also said: "We had a great marriage, the most fantastic wedding, but I just don't know where it went wrong. To this very day I still question this".

On the programme, which is due to air next Saturday at 10pm, Cheryl also talks about contracting malaria and how she "thought she was going to die".

But Cheryl has stayed tight lipped about her relationship with dancer Derek Hough, saying only that he is "an important and genuine person" to her.
