When Taylor Swift took to the stage at this year's VMAs, everyone was waiting with bated breath to see if she'd exact revenge on Kanye for his rudeness the previous year. After Kanye stormed the stage during Taylor's 2009 acceptance speech and announced he felt Beyonce was a more deserving winner, the music world and its fans turned on the rapper. But Taylor got the last laugh when she performed her song Innocence at the 2010 VMAs this year, with clear references to the shamed star: "Who you are is not what you did…Everyone of us has messed up, too.
