Kymapetra interactive artwork

The artwork is made of 5 stones and a central basin with water. The spectator, while puts his hand above a stone, enters in resonance with it. The light touch body/matter is transformed into sound vibrations. Those become visible at the water surface in a myriad of ripple. The propagation of the acoustic vibrations at water surface then draws geometrical composition. The figures vary according to the intensities of the contact between the person and the stones.
