R.C. Sproul continues to attack Sola Fide in his latest book

Sproul is really taking some shots at Sola Fide now that his ministry is coming to a close. Sproul has always supported the heretical theology of Thomas Aquinas, who teaches justification by faith and works, and last Thanksgiving he came out on his radio show and claimed that redemption is by faith and faithfulness, but now his new book on assurance makes the case that we must be able to show our good works on the day of judgment--or we will be doomed! The Calvinist position is that we must be covered by the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ alone, and that all our works could never win us salvation! Unlike Sproul, we must be like the apostle Paul, who counted all of his best works to be but dung! Nothing can compare with the complete and finished work of Christ alone!
