Rooney's family "appalled" over cheat claims

Wayne Rooney's family have called him "a disgrace."

The Manchester United star's cousin Natalie took to Twitter and reportedly wrote: "I'm appalled. Poor Colly," following allegations that he cheated on his wife Coleen.

Tabloids claimed the footballer had an affair with a prostitute while his wife was pregnant with their baby Kai.

Team Rooney have not commented on the stories.

The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Italy in 2008. Their first child followed in November 2009.

The 24-year-old striker has travelled to Switzerland with the England squad for the Euro 2012 qualifier. But some fear he may not be in the right frame of mind to play.
