Spanish NBA star Pau Gasol, who is in India promoting basketball seems to be cherishing his country’s triumphant period in world sports.
The second NBA superstar to visit the country this month following Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard's was all praise for his country’s sportsmen who have showed perseverance, skill and talent on the field.
Seven-footer Gasol believes that Spanish sportsmen and upcoming youngsters from his country train very hard and are fearless to bear the heat in competitive sporting events. This is clearly visible in the dominance showed by tennis stars like Rafael Nadal and the recent victorious Spanish team in the football World Cup.
