It's Germany's most ambitious pipeline project to date: at 470 kilometers in length, the Baltic Sea Pipeline Link stretches from the Baltic across three German states all the way to Saxony.Beginning in fall of next year, OPAL is to supply large parts of western Europe with natural gas from Russia.
