All those who did not take BMC’s warning seriously to avoid eating fish followed by the oil spill, may have to think again as The Bombay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA) on Monday treated three cats which are said to have eaten oil contaminated fish. The three cats belonging to the Khot family regularly consume fish at least thrice a day. On Friday evening the trio feasted on their favourite Bombay duck fish, but the following day one of the cats, Chintu (3 ½) year old started discharging oily substance from the mouth and nostrils. On Sunday the other two cats, Kaoo (two and a half) and Pilli (two and a half) also started discharging the oily material from their nostrils.
