The caravan of comedy and education (Haiti)

The Koute Ayiti (Listen to Haiti) caravan was created to travel to the different provinces of Haiti and bring, at the same, time, amusement and health education. The caravan has toured the country from 12 July to 6 August 2010, and has been staged by Konesans Fanmi se Lespwa Timoun (family knowledge is children's hope). It is composed of teams of social workers and doctors who also provide free HIV tests to the audience.
The presenter has a crucial role in reinforcing the educational message which underlies the comedy sketches, by interacting with the audience to ensure that the information gets across and is well understood by everybody!
