DR.Congo 'biomass' logs a green alternative to coal

Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo is home to the mountain gorilla, an endangered species threatened by the deforestation caused by trees being felled for fuel. But now the Congolese Institute of Nature Conservation is promoting a new form of 'biomass' fuel, a low-cost alternative to charcoal made using paper, water and leaves. Duration: 01:57
