In this 1968 recording, Austrian guitarist Brigitte Zaczek performs Bach's Suite in G major (after the Cello Suite No. 3 in C major, BWV 1009). I created this video from the LP, "Johann Sebastian Bach / Silvius Leopold Weiss," issued by the Musical Heritage Society, serial number MHS 890.
The notes on the reverse side of the LP jacket state: "The arrangement for guitar of Bach's Suite No. 3 in C major for unaccompanied cello was made by Brigitte Zaczek. In preparing her arrangement, Miss Zaczek has adopted Bach's own procedure as shown in the original version of the fifth Cello Suite and in his own transposition and arrangement for the lute."
