The World Touring Car Championship is an international racing series organized by FIA, the governing body that also runs Formula One and other racing events.Chevrolet joined the series in 2005 with its Cruze WTCC, a racing version of the mass-produced Cruze compact. As demanded by WTCC regulations, the race car differs only in a few details from its street-legal sibling.
