Film: CUBA, as time goes by

ummary: Cuba, Havana 1977: one Friday in August, I took the road to exile. This film traces the experience of returning to my native village after thirty years of absence.
Journey to the heart of the utopia of classless society when Fidel Castro, sick, officially handed over the reins of power to his brother Raul, after 48 years of absolute power at the head of Cuba.
The confrontation of my memory with the omissions that exile imposed on me, by highlighting the backstage of the harsh daily life of Cubans at a time of the obvious aging of the generation that made the revolution.

A film by Eduardo Lamora
