Do we all live in a spiral of putting off what we can do today until tomorow? This is a visual excercise in communicating the economist's theories of the human tendency for 'hyperbolic discounting' - better known as procrastination. This film was made by Osiel Davila from the SOAS Economics Depatartment on UCL's 2-week Practical Filmmaking workshop in the Anthropology Department in 2010. It evolved from an excercise when the students discover that asking questions with a camera opens up undreamt-of creative content - a radical methodolgy in itself.
