Bartow Ford presents check to George W Harris Jr Shelter
Bartow Ford and Enterprise Holding donate $1500 to George W. Harris Jr. Runaway and Youth Crisis Shelter.
Steve Hendrix of Bartow Ford, and Drew Akers of Enterprise Holdings, worked together to raise $1500 for a local Charity of Bartow Ford's choice. The recipient was The George W. Harris Runaway and Youth Crisis Shelter, located in Bartow.
These facilities can accommodate as many as 24 youths at a time. The shelter sees over 500 youths come through its doors annually. The shelter provides temporary housing and care for many local youths that need an emergency shelter placement due to abuse, and or neglect. It also provides for youth in foster care who have experienced a disruption in their foster placement.
