Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have walked the red carpet in Rome to promote the latest movie installment - Eclipse.
Despite the heat, hundreds of young girls came to catch a glimpse of the actors with staff handing out water to help cool them down.
Kristen and Taylor were in Rome as part of a global tour for the movie which will see them also visit Australia, South Korea, the United States, Sweden and Spain.
Eclipse continues from where New Moon left off with vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) still vying for Bella's affection, played by Kirsten.
The young actress said: "I feel like it is kind of the climax of the whole series, it is sort of when most of the danger takes place. They are out of peril by the time the movie is over so they can actually start the life they have been fighting so hard for".
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is due to be released in cinemas at the end of June.
