Low Back Pain Stretch - Psoas Stretch

http://CarpalTunnelMaster.com - Do you have back pain? There are many stretches for the back. This is one of them. If you sit a lot or have activities where you are basically sitting - such as rowing, bicycling, kayaking, etc there is a muscle in front of the low back muscles (called the psoas muscle) that can get very tight. You don't normally feel pain in that muscle which is very deep. It pulls the backbone forward. Because it normally doesn't get stretched out it tends to get shorter. The low back muscles then have to work harder to fight the psoas. And the low back muscles lose. Check out this simple stretch for the psoas.
