Kylie hosts star studded charity event.

Kylie Minogue hosted amfAR's Inspiration Gala in New York to raise money for AIDS research.

The event also celebrated men's fashion, and an award was presented to Jean-Paul Gaultier for his long time support of the organisation.

Ricky Martin, who recently announced he was gay, was also given an award for philanthropy.

Singer Cyndi Lauper was amongst those who attended the event.

A white suit jacket was signed by Kylie and other celebrities to raise money for the foundation.

Kylie said: "It is a great turnout, an amazing bunch of people and I feel very honoured to have this role".
