'Marmaduke' brings to life the lovable Great Dane from the popular comic strip, and in the film, the title dog heads to Orange County, California, where he hits a few speedbumps in his quest to fit in. Kiefer Sutherland, Judy Greer and William H. Macy, among other celebs, also star.
Singer Fergie of Black Eyed Peas fame voices Marmaduke's love interest, and she says, "You know, you've got people like George Lopez to spice it up, you've got Owen Wilson, who plays Marmaduke, and you can hear these people, and you can hear their personalities come out in the voices, in the characters."
Fergie says of providing the voice for her character, "I really love the process of it, because it feels natural and it feels real, and it's not trying to make some cartoon-y voice for these dogs, it's the real personalities of these dogs."
