Human Error is a 50min long multimedia dance piece. It is a symbolical presentation of three-dimensional human structure (body, mind, soul) and honest attempt to show eternal human aspiration (and inability) to seperate emotions and reason in order to reach perfection. This interdisciplinary dance project is a result of Marija Scekic's 10year- long exploration of human nature and more specifically, a simplicity of "human body to speak truth". In this performance, audience will simultaneously watch real dancer and a virtual entity (scanned and modulated fMRI images of neural activity). For Marija Scekic, dance is just one element of her choreographic work. She considers human movement as synthesis of a deep philosophical thought expressed through most simple, sincere and honest body movement and is in constant search for "active thought" meaning "human being as one, a holly unity of body, mind and soul".
