Diana Vickers' debut album goes straight to No1

Diana Vickers' debut album has gone straight to the top of the charts.

Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree knocked Plan B's Defamation Of Strickland Banks off the top spot and into second position.

This comes after the18-year-old's debut single Once went straight to number one in the singles chart last month.

Diana came third on The X Factor in 2008, the year Alexandra Burke won and JLS came second.

Inbetween taking part in the reality show and her chart success, Diana won rave reviews when she starred in Little Voice on the west end stage.

Diana has just started her UK tour, which kicked off at Liverpool's O2 Academy.
