Westminster Pay By Phone scam, security flaw exposed

Westminster Council have a Pay By Phone parking system which excludes paying by cash. When you arrive in Westminster to parking the only way to pay for parking on their streets is to have a credit card and a mobile phone. Campaigners from the No To Bike Parking Tax group have complained that this is unsafe and not practical to expect riders to stand out in the dark with their credit cards and mobile phone, shouting them down to the phone.
