The only problem is that this Nightmare reboot seems more pre-occupied with being a shot-for-shot remake of Wes Craven's original than it is at just being a good scary movie. The result is a bit bland, leaving us wondering if this movie is made for people who LOVE the original so much they'll watch any Freddy? Or is it for people who have no idea how scary Freddy should be?
