Hi I’m Dave from Best Buy in Union Square, Manhattan and today I’m gonna show you how to add widgets to your HTC Hero phone. A widget is a program that lives on your home screen as opposed to a shortcut which you might press to go to your browser, your camera or your contacts. To add a widget, simply hit the plus button on an empty screen, select HTC widget, scroll to find the one you want to add, weather is one of my personal favorites. So let’s add that. Then you have to choose the design of the widget you like. Not every widget has different designs, but most of them like the clock or the weather do. Pick the one you want and hit select and it’s gonna load right where you asked it to.
