On 14 March 2009 Ernman won Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song "La Voix, which she had written to Frederick Kempe. [3] The song went straight to the final of the Globe after winning the second race duel against Sarah Dawn Finer. After the jury vote was allocated La Voix in eighth place (out of eleven contributions). The song was, however, people's voice, 144 points, and won the competition with a total of 182 points. Ernman thus represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow
