http://www.arielpiano.com This "Galliards Gygge" in A minor is from William Byrd's collection of 42 pieces for keyboard called My Ladye Nevells Booke. (Not clear why Byrd called it a galliard-gigue; it doesn't seem to be either.) I practically had to sight-read this piece for a lecture on suites, and I skipped a couple of notes as I was turning the page. Byrd is one of my favorite Renaissance composers.
