2009-09-24 (1) Redbank Gorge to Kings Canyon

Northern Territory. After a night in the absolute middle of nowhere, a big day with a long 500 km drive to Uluru broken up by a stop at Kings Canyon. The first part of the drive - about 200 km from Redbank Gorge via the Mereenie Loop - was long but fun, with quick stops at the huge Gosse Bluff meteorite crater and to check out some of the locals (if Jason hadn’t kill them first).
