Catalin Botezatu's rich collection of fashion villainesses worked in meticulous sets of three. Each set built upon previous colors, themes, and fabrics used before, while climaxing in a fusion of the structure, pattern, and color that preceded it. All color choices showcase a bold pallet while still keeping in mind the structure of the piece, which shows prowess as a craftsman as well as a showman. The arms represent an important structural motif for Botezatu, as he highlights them even as they are sheathed in magnificently detailed garments. One set of particular note is the spider set, in which the dress goes from purple, to blue, to a mixture of black and white. All the while, the garments become less ethereal and more sophisticated, bringing more glamour to the spider detail as well as to the draping sleeves. The final garment in the set manages to work in detailing such as the half glove and black pom-poms seen in previous garments.
