Boys Lagging Behind in German Schools | People & Politics

Surveys show that boys in German schools are on average trailing behind girls in reading and in math. They get lower grades for Abitur ,the university entrance exam,and they are far more likely to leave school without any qualifications at all.Family Minister Kristina Köhler says the German school system puts boys at a disadvantage. She has now come up with an extensive program designed to redress the balance.
