They come from different regions of Cameroon, but are bound by the same story, that of early pregnancy that surprised them in their tender adolescent years and has completely changed their relationship with their friends and turned their lives upside down. This affects thousands of teenage girls because 64% of them have their first sexual relationship between 12 and 16 years. These young girls are now trained and called 'Aunties' to illustrate their new role of outreach and mentoring other youth and adolescent sexuality so others can avoid what happened to them. They use their new knowledge and their testimony to talk about the risks associated with early sexuality, including teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
