Krueger (1899-1967) is a truly underrated musician, who was an alto and tenor saxophonist and clarinetist. He is best remembered for his recordings with the Original Dixieland Jazz Band (1920–21), . From the mid-1920s he worked for radio stations as a bandleader and engaged musicians for broadcasts; during the 1930s he was the music director for the singer Rudy Vallee. He recorded with Bing Crosby in 1931 and 1932. This lovely recording was made in 1932 and the vocal is by Paul Small.
