Got To Find Me Somebody To Love - John Dickey (Multi-track)

This prototypical cowboy song was briefly (and mockingly) sung by Gregory Peck in "Duel In The Sun" (1946) to Jennifer Jones while she was agonizing over what had been done to her in her bungalow. Greg, while straddling a fence and strumming a guitar in the middle of the night, didn't finish this ballad. Catchy as it was, I took the liberty of attempting to complete the verses and the bridge as I imagined it might have been done in its entirety. This was one of two films in which Gregory played an unrepentant baddie ("The Boys From Brazil" being the other). Ironically, of course, in real life, Gregory Peck was a superlatively nice guy and terrific actor.
