The international rio film festival, the biggest one in south america starts september 24th and runs until october 8th.
Nisimasa, the european network of young cinema is there with a dozen of dynamic people, from both europe and latin america, offering every two days a bilingual magazine (english/portugese) for the participants.
On September 27, an emotional screening took place in Complexo do Alemão, one of Rio's favelas. "Only when I dance", a British documentary which follows two young dancers in their attempt to join an international ballet troup was shown to the local community where one of the protagonist is from.
