African School Musical

The Cape Town township of Nyanga ticks many typical boxes; unemployment at 70%, a community ravished by AIDS, crime out of control. But some school children from Nyanga are breaking free through drama, dance and performance. Whilst the eyes of the world turn to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup, children from Nyanga will travel to the UK to learn, perform and work with over 5,000 British school children - often from deprived areas. What will the school children of Britain learn from the African school children who have nothing but spirit, hope and endless generosity?
