Norbert Bisky has always enjoyed being present when his work has been shown around the world. Events in November 2008 changed all that. What should have been an exciting gallery opening became a bloodbath all around the Taj Mahal hotel - where his gallerist was trapped. Bisky later elaborated his impressions and his experiences in Mumbai on canvas,creating a small,penetrating series on the banality of evil. Clear traces of horror - captured in paint.
