Focus on Wake Forest - July 2009

July 2009 - Connections…100 Years of Wake Forest History has been published and is now on sale. Local author Carol Pelosi talks about her book that chronicles the people, places and events of Wake Forest's first 100 years. Last year the Wake Forest Board of Commissioners voted to change the town's sanitation billing policy. We'll explain why that's good news for most of Wake Forest's residential sanitation customers; and finally, the Town of Wake Forest recently held the grand re-opening of Taylor Street Park. We’ll take you out to the park and show you why it's another important success of the Northeast Neighborhood Plan.
