13th June is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Heinrich Hoffman,author of the famous children's book Struvelpeter or Shock-Headed Peter. The book is known to millions of children across Europe. It tells a series of cautionary tales about naughty children and was instrumental in scaring generations into behaving themselves!
