00:00Do you have any opinions in the morning and dark position?
00:03Was there any?
00:04Was there any?
00:05No, there wasn't.
00:06A little bit.
00:07I think it was a good wicket.
00:09Obviously a wicket that Sunrisers know very well.
00:13It's a haven for big scores.
00:14And I think it played a little bit differently than a lot of people expected.
00:18So, yeah, nice to see any team kind of 4-5 down in the power play.
00:22So it was, yeah, good feeling.
00:25Do you know what it was first?
00:26Is that very much?
00:27I think, yeah, early wickets is the wish of any team, really.
00:34We know what early wickets does in the power play.
00:36Puts pressure on oppositions.
00:38I thought Classy batted very nicely.
00:41Obviously got them into a good position to get a respectable score.
00:45But, yeah, if you told us we were going to keep them to 144 as we got off the bus,
00:51I think any team would have taken that.
00:53So, yeah.
00:53What sort of an event did the World Championship back in the last one have been?
00:57I think the whole side, the whole Mumbai Indian squad possesses some world-class players.
01:07And obviously Rohit needs no introduction in that regard.
01:11Yeah.
01:12I'm sure everyone wants to be contributing at some points.
01:15But Rohit's doing a fantastic job of late and playing nicely just at the right time.
01:20So he's going to play a huge role for us in the remaining part of the season.
01:26I think you just need to be prepared for any role.
01:44Yeah, any time at Rajasthan, I was prepared to bowl at any stage of the match.
01:48And I've been lucky enough to play 10 IPL seasons where it hasn't always been the same recipe every time.
01:53So I think the first thing is you've got to always want the ball.
01:57Yeah, this tournament's such a big tournament.
01:58You're coming up against the best players.
02:00And as I said in the post-match kind of press conference,
02:03it's always a big desire for me to take on the best players.
02:06And yeah, I think having that mindset of wanting the ball
02:09and wanting to take on the big players is always a good start.
02:11Yeah, like I said, I think we expected it to be a high-scoring match.
02:25It looked like a good surface.
02:27There wasn't much grass on it.
02:28It was quite a dry wicket.
02:30But yeah, I think the new ball stood up a little bit for both teams in the power play, I think.
02:35I just managed to put some pressure on, take some catches.
02:37And yeah, as I said before, to take early wickets, kind of two or three down is always a good start.
02:42But to get four was an even better start.
02:49Yeah, it's funny how quickly things change, isn't it?
02:55It's a long tournament.
02:57Momentum wasn't on our side to start with.
03:00But to turn it around, to have four wins in a row was the focus,
03:04just to get a bit of momentum, a bit of rhythm.
03:05Guys playing nice cricket at certain points.
03:08And yeah, we're not going to look too far ahead.
03:10It can quickly change.
03:11So looking forward to getting back home,
03:13playing in some conditions that we know pretty well.
03:16But there's a long way to go in this tournament.
03:18Between Rohit and Hardik.
03:31I haven't played under Hardik for five years.
03:34But yeah, Hardik's a passionate cricketer, obviously very skillful.
03:38And he's a great leader, I think.
03:39He leads from the front.
03:41He's a great communicator.
03:42And yeah, he's one of my favourite Indian cricketers.
03:45So to get the chance to play underneath him is a great experience.
03:49So I'm really enjoying the time.
03:51There's some great players in there.
03:52Obviously Boomer needs no introduction either.
03:54So it's great to be having ball back in hand with him.
