At today's White House press briefing, Karoline Leavitt praised the late Pope Francis and said that President Trump will attend the funeral.

00:07with all of the Catholics around the world who are mourning the death of Pope
00:11Francis. Pope Francis touched millions of lives and dedicated his life to
00:15serving the Catholic Church. As a mark of respect for his memory, President Trump
00:20ordered flags be flown at half-staff and he will be traveling to attend his
00:24funeral in Rome. The President will depart from Washington on Friday morning
00:27and return to the United States on Saturday evening following the funeral
00:31service. I can also confirm the dates of the President's trip to the Middle East.
00:36He will travel to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates from May 13th
00:41until May 16th. And on Thursday of this week, President Trump will welcome
00:46Norwegian Prime Minister at the White House for a working visit. The two leaders will
00:50discuss trade and regional security. This will be the 13th head of state visit of
00:55President Trump's term already.
