00:00With most of the essential needs to get by within reach of one's fingertips, more people are using LandBank's online tools, making banking easier and faster with technology.
00:10Transaction values jumped to 3.38 trillion pesos compared to 2.45 trillion pesos the year before.
00:18In 2024, people transacted through LandBank's online services 162.28 million times, 67% more than in 2023.
00:27LandBank president and CEO Lynette Ortiz explained that digital banking is not just about convenience, but also about helping more people gain financial inclusion, especially farmers, fisherfolk, small business owners and overseas Filipino workers.
00:43With over 106 million transactions in 2024, double that of 2023, the LandBank mobile banking app allows users to send money, pay bills, invest in government securities and most importantly, open a new bank account just with a smartphone.
01:01On the other hand, LandBank's WeAccess platform handled 1.36 trillion pesos worth of transactions, a 43% increase from last year.
01:10Meanwhile, the nation's bank recently received international awards, winning most innovative banking application in the 2024 International Finance Awards in Bangkok and best e-banking services provider, as well as most reliable mobile banking app provider at the 2025 World Business Outlook Awards of Singapore.
