00:00Bueno, hola, es Gonzalo de Hipertextual en España.
00:02First of all, congratulations, porque este show es fantástico, es increíble,
00:06so clever ratings, so congratulations for that.
00:09Thank you, thank you very much.
00:11The first thing I want to ask you, there's this comment,
00:14also since season one, because people say that you kind of made
00:17Star Wars for adults, in a way.
00:20I want to ask you, do you think that in this franchise
00:22it can never happen again?
00:24I don't see why not.
00:25I mean, I've always felt that there were an incredible number
00:31of opportunities in a galaxy.
00:33I've made no secret of that, I've spoken about it before.
00:35I think it can do anything.
00:36It really requires, and they're making some.
00:40I mean, there's all kinds of interesting things that are going on
00:42that they're cooking up there.
00:44You've got to get lucky enough to hit the right moment
00:47and find the right temperature for it,
00:49and with the right person and the right actor.
00:51But yeah, I don't see any, I mean, why not?
00:54Of course.
00:55Like, I hope so.
00:58Now I want to ask you about something that has been happening
01:01in the recent years, sadly, in the Star Wars fan base,
01:04because some fans have actually attacked the franchise
01:06for being, like, too woke, too diverse.
01:09And you guys delivered the most, I don't know how to say it,
01:15the most vindicative show in the Star Wars history.
01:18And you succeed.
01:20Everyone loves it.
01:21So what's the key for this success?
01:23The key is to not think about it.
01:25The key is to be natural.
01:27The key is to take it as it is.
01:28It's, I mean, the more time you spend thinking about an agenda
01:32or a mandate, I mean, it's hard enough to do accurate human behavior.
01:38It's hard enough to make a story that makes you desperate
01:41to see what happens next.
01:43Those are my, that's, those are the things that I'm, I'm concerned about.
01:47And the rest of it should just be natural.
01:49I think, I think if you face it honestly and naturally, you, you, you, you, you're free.
01:57That's good.
01:57That's a great answer.
01:58And I want to ask you about Valencia, of course,
02:00because you filmed here this second season,
02:02and it actually plays like another character of the show.
02:06So I want to ask you about how was it experienced here
02:09and how important is to actually film in a, in a practical set?
02:13Because when you think about the Star Wars,
02:15you think about green screens and things like that.
02:17So how important was it to, to do it here?
02:19Crucial.
02:20Valencia was everything for us.
02:23You were down there.
02:24I mean, yeah, I mean, it's, it's, it's a fantastic city.
02:29I don't know what, what happened with it, with the rains now,
02:32if it's sort of washed away, but I haven't been there since then.
02:36It's a beautiful city.
02:37It's fantastic.
02:38I would imagine now it's established.
02:40That's the Senate.
02:41So if people want to do the Senate from now on,
02:43I think they got to go back to Valencia.
02:45So I'm expecting someone to pick up my bar tab.
02:48The next time I go back, I want, I want a free pass in Valencia.
02:54Thank you very much for doing that.
02:56Actually.
02:57No, I won't because I don't know if you guys ever would ever like to come
03:01back to Star Wars now that Andor is done or is an ending chapter for you
03:05guys.
03:06I've been on it for 10 years, sort of, you know, from road on.
03:11I think I've, I think I've served my time honorably.
03:13I think I did what I wanted to do more than I want to do.
03:16I think it would be good for me to move on right now.
03:19Yeah, well, it's, uh, I should never say never because it's not,
03:27it's not the universe, the Star Wars universe that is, uh, uh, worn out for
03:33me or, uh, not even this is worn out for me, but I, I had a very good time
03:38here.
03:38Uh, but it's, what is the quality of the project that, uh, besides.
03:42Yeah, they never answer.
03:44We always get burned.
03:45So never say never.
